All we know so far is that Psi Star can trace its history back to 1951, when it was called the 'Physical Science Society', its logo is shown to the right. It changed it name in 1999 to 'Psi Star' to be a more unique society. You'll be surprised how many Phys Socs there are out there in the UK. We also used to have a lot more members, including quite a few academics and postgrads. Here's a pic of the society many years ago, we believe it to have been taken in 1974.
