Update On Cornwall 30 Jul 2005 by Jo

Just to let you all know, the dates have been confirmed as the 27th August through until the 3rd September and we have paid for a 6 berth static caravan. We have one place in the caravan still available, the other people being James, Myself and my brothers (Paul and Mark) and Nicola. Steve and his brother are also going and Joe, Sergei and Phil may come down for the first weekend.

So if you too want to come, check out the cornish holiday page and let us know if you want that caravan bed.

Kit Logo's 27 Jul 2005 by James

Little update on the Kit, had the artwork for the T-Shirt logo's come through to check over today, eveything looks fine but I thought i'd let everyone else see what the logo's will look like.

The colour of the T-shirts will be khaki so the names should be easier to see.

Amazon Link 15 Jul 2005 by James

I've added the amazon link you can see on your left, basically if you click on that link and go buy something at Amazon PsiStar will recieve a certain percentage of the sale price of the item you've brought, anywhere between 5-10% depending on how many people we refer during one month.

The link is only visable on the main page and in the link section so it won't be following you around everywhere.

So basically if you are going to buy any textbooks or other items please help PsiStar (and Amazon) out by clicking the link by giving us the referal fee and Amazon your custom.

Cornish Update 14 Jul 2005 by Jo

Just a quick note to say that the Cornish Holiday page has been updated with the final dates and the accomodation available. You need to let James or myself know as soon as possible if you can definitely make it. Once you have done that, we can book it and organise bank transfers and travel arrangements.

Hope you are all having a good summer break, check out the forums for discussions on this holiday and more.

Goooooogle Ads and more 12 Jul 2005 by James

Well you should no doubt see the google ads at the top of the page now [edit]make that the side of the page <<<[/edit], not entirely sure whether i'm going to keep them, although they are good for a laugh on some of the pages...also seem to be getting a lot of french ads?? anybody with an idea why, send you answers to me on the back of a postcard...

The main reason the ads are on the site is to try and make enough money to 1) pay for the hosting of the site and 2) maybe make psistar some money. We'll just have to wait and see on that.

Could I also ask that you don't go clicking on them thinking each click makes us money, they don't work that way and so only click if you actually see something interesting.

I've also gone through the site making sure that its completely up to scratch in respect to the w3c rules....hopefully that has a few of you looking like a monkey right now, basically I've gone through all the code in every page making sure its all valid, correct, etc...if you want to know any more click on the images below the google ads.

BBC news 09 Jul 2005 by James

As you should hopefully be able to see to the right we now have some BBC news on our site, I'd like to thank Pratik for setting up the account...oohhh..nearly 3 months ago during which time i've been deciding where to put the bloody thing.

Keep an eye out because soon we'll hopefully have some google ads appearing on the site to possibly make us some cash, even if it just pays for the sites hosting its better than nothing.

Forum update 09 Jul 2005 by James

I've made quite a few changes to the forum recently, mainly in respect to the header that appears at the top and I've also changed the layout. As to whether they stay like that is up to you folks, so if you could go and give your opinions on what the changes so far and whether you like them or not.

I'm really looking for feedback because currently I customising the forums to my own liking with only a slight regard for what other people might think because I've yet to here any good or bad remarks.

And for those people that visit the site and have yet to register on the forums, do so, we have 5 people registered at the moment and with just that amount we are getting quite a lot of topics and responses.

Forums are go... 30 Jun 2005 by James

The forums are up and running, not finished yet with the layout of things and the final look, but the forums themselves are up and working.

So click here to go visit them, you should register before you post, won't take long, I just want to make sure I get as many personal details as possible to sell and fund my ever increasing empire.... tongue if you believed that, see that electrical plug over there, stick your fingers in it...

on a slightly more serious note, please post in the forum, I want to get some testing on it before September comes and make sure its nice and stable, it should be fine, just want to check...so does this mean I'm giving you free range to just post random crap....why yes I am, here have a cookie and go enjoy yourselves.

Social Tops 28 Jun 2005 by James

Another little update, this time the page explaining the design of the PsiStar t-shirts is done and now awaiting people to email us with what they want. Details are all on the page which can be accessed via the link above with the t-shirt on it or for those of you who read with your mouse following, here....

The sooner you tell us the details the sooner we can get them made.

Updates..and Cornish Trip 27 Jun 2005 by James

With the help of Jo, who has technically become the web slave wink, there has been a few updates to the site, mainly a page on the (hopefully) upcoming cornish trip and a few changes throughout the site mostly to do with the layout and some proposed further updates.

Any of you interested in a trip to cornwall should contact either myself or Jo as soon as possible so we can get an idea on the numbers and get things booked...check out the link above for what the trip will entail and email us if you are coming and what accomodation you would like.
